AGS ↔ DIGGS Converter
Move geotechnical data between the two open transfer formats: AGS4, used across the UK, Ireland, Australia and Hong Kong, and DIGGS, the North American XML standard. Upload one, download the other.
Files go straight from your browser to the Geosetta DIGGS API over HTTPS and are not stored. Max 25 MB.
What converts
- Location and hole data, SPT and CPT results, sample records, laboratory tests and stratum descriptions, mapped between the AGS4 group/heading model and the DIGGS feature/observation model.
- Units are carried through the DIGGS unit-of-measure dictionary; coordinate reference systems are preserved.
- The DIGGS→AGS direction also accepts a Geosetta DIGGS viewer HTML file — the embedded XML is extracted.
Why it matters
- Every boring on the Geosetta map downloads as DIGGS or AGS4, so a UK consultant can pull US DOT data straight into AGS-native software.
- Multinational projects can accept whichever format each party produces.
